Three Places to Take the Kids in Fulshear

Three Places to Take the Kids in Fulshear
People move to Fulshear to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. That doesn’t mean you don’t want to have fun. Here are 3 family-friendly places to take the kids:

  • Blessington Farms, just 5 miles away. Started in 2011 by 2 Iowans who still love the farm, this place has the country experience your kids will love. One of the main attractions is the Farm Funland, which includes pedal cars, animal encounters and a slide mountain. The farm has a well-stocked pond for those that want to go fishing. There’s also berry-picking as well as a pumpkin patch; the kids will enjoy taking home something they picked themselves. Hours and availability of activities vary depending on the season, so be sure to check theirsite before you plan your visit.
  • Sweet Tooth Shoppe in Fulshear. Of course, you’re careful with how much candy you let your kids eat. But almost every kid has a sweet tooth. So every once in a while, you can indulge them. Sweet Tooth Shoppe isn’t just a candy store, the founders created it to help families make memories. And while the kids are making their own memories, you can recall some of your childhood memories with vintage candies like Skybar and Big League Chew.
  • ArtsFulshear Events. They do everything from movies outside under the stars to junior musical theatre classes to scarecrow festivals. There’s always something that each member of the family will love. To find out about upcoming events, check out their Facebook page.

There’s much more to be seen and done in and around our town, but these 3 activities are sure to make your kids feel happy and at home.
