Typhoon Texas Waterpark Open for Summer

Typhoon Texas, just 20 minutes away from Fulbrook on Fulshear Creek, is open for the summer.

The water park includes nine water rides, 30 slides, live music, a Texas barbecue restaurant and other food options. It also has a 25,000-square-foot wave pool and 1,300-foot-long “Lazy T” river ride, as well as a children’s play structure and other water features.

At Typhoon Texas in Katy, officials said this year’s summer opening will come with additional shade structures, rotating misters, retail carts and an upgraded movie night experience. Season ticket holders can now also enter the water park 30 minutes prior to opening, and there is an option for a season pass that allows free admission to the water park in Pflugerville.

Weekend single-day passes cost $39.99, with rates dropping to $29.99 after 5 p.m.
